Courage!

A few years ago a video of a boy from Tennessee “Keaton jones” went viral on the Internet, he was tearfully talking about being bullied at school and how awful it is being bullied. Keaton said “Just out of curiosity, why do they bully? What's the point out of it? why do you find joy in taking innocent people and find a way to be mean to ’em? it's not okay said Keaton,” They make fun of my nose, call me ugly, say I have no friends, pour milk on me, put ham down my clothes and throw bread at me, he complained. The thing which amused me was stuff he said after this.”People that are different don’t need to be criticized about it, its not their fault. But if you are made fun of, don’t let it bother you, just stay strong it’ll probably get better one day “he says and signs off. The video was posted by his mother which was viewed 25 million times and shared by a massive number of people on Facebook. There was even a controversy related to this video which I have mentioned below. Now the thing which made me write this is the words which Keaton spoke, maybe he cried during the video or even was very heartbroken but he cared about other individuals who might be suffering the same way as he is, being an 11-year-old he asked others to be strong and courageous and asked them not to bother, Keaton knowingly or unknowingly has given courage to millions of kids like him who are facing this and are too afraid to share and how does it make him an inspiration; celebrities like Justin Bieber, Dana white, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Chris Evans, and LeBron James among others offering support for Keaton, with Evans even inviting Keaton to attend next year’s Avengers sequel. There also arose a controversy and he faced a backlash after social media posts of his mother showed the Keaton’s family appearing to pose with Confederate flags. Another bizarre twist to the story came after reports indicated Keaton’s estranged father is a white supremacist currently in prison. Jones confirmed to ABC News the images of the family were real but the family is not racist. Leaving all this apart Keaton dude! hats off to you and your mother and I hope you felt great after being supported by some cool guys who even your bullies look up to. To feel understood is what is required when you are in stress and you got it for sure as it is rightly said “What air to the body, to feel understood is to the heart”
