Conor McGregor to return

Conor McGregor to return soon, yes you heard it right, said Dana White in a recent interview. Conor McGregor who returned to The Octagon in October last year, being 23 months away from MMA, and he was beaten by Khabib Nurmagomedov in UFC 229 and then defeated Cowboy Cerrone in just 40 secs to announce his return to the UFC. Conor has since posted that he wants a rematch but will fight whoever the UFC wants him to, which will help him get back in the title picture and potentially earn the title bout.

Conor Mcgregor is ready to fight but the question is who will he fight and where. Conor had announced that this year would be huge for him and is focused on fighting at least matches this year. UFC president Dana White said that McGregor is certainly very eager to get back into the octagon, but his return may be highly dependent on when UFC will finish the build of “Fight Island,” which as told by Dana white will have fight cards for the fighters who live outside the U.S.

Conor’s been ready to fight for a while,” said Dana white talking to Jim Rome on Tuesday. “He’s in shape. He’s ready to go, “First of all, ‘Fight Island’ is going to be very important in any of these fights that are happening with people from outside the country. It kills me to do a fight with Conor without fans. Kills me. This guy’s doing almost $20 million gates.”

The potential opponents are listed out but Jorge Masvidal is the top contender to face Conor and when Dana was asked about Jorge defending his BMF title against The Notorious White said, “Very good point. That’s a possibility too.”

“Conor’s been ready to fight for a while. He’s in shape, he’s ready to go.”

So let's see what happens not me being a huge fan of The Notorious One am excited about this, let me know what are your thoughts on this and which fight cards would you love to see soon.
